About the role

  • Event Producer leading B2B conferences, corporate events, and brand experiences for Mosaic, a North American integrated marketing agency. Managing vendors, budgets, production teams, and client programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, production, and execution of regional and national events, including corporate events, conferences, and business meetings
  • Manage and coach Event Managers and Event Coordinators
  • Support the Director in delivering business requirements and driving organic growth
  • Design event experiences with internal Creative Directors and external production vendors
  • Manage project teams to ensure executional excellence
  • Vet and manage vendors for A/V and staging, catering, attendee materials, activations, and custom builds
  • Plan conferences, including agendas, speaker and talent booking, scripts, presentation content strategy and design, and AV vendor management
  • Produce conferences onsite, including technical show production, floor direction, and stage management
  • Consult with clients on program development and business goals
  • Provide weekly status updates and conduct client program reviews
  • Develop and manage program budgets and execute programs on-budget
  • Conduct post-event debriefs, prepare reports, and close out billing details

  • Knowledge of current trends in the live events industry
  • Passion for events and event production
  • Organized, self-motivated, creative, and able to solve unique problems

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in the live events industry, ideally from an agency
  • Minimum 5+ years of related event experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work in a digital work environment
  • Willingness to travel
  • Strong business acumen and budgeting ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Use of a vehicle to attend client meetings and site visits
  • Proven track record developing and managing large, complex projects and teams
  • Experience with clients in the Tech or Communications industry is a strong asset
