Responsibilities
Serve as the primary HR contact for department heads and senior leaders in assigned business segments, units, and operating units
Provide strategic HR thought leadership and regularly update senior management and the HR management team
Identify, develop, and deploy talent through career planning, skill building, and competency modeling
Use internal and external data analytics to design HR solutions and perform talent and organization diagnostics
Build relationships with leaders, managers, and employees; provide coaching, counseling, mediation, and interventions
Own transformation processes, anticipate change, identify risks, and manage communications and project plans for HR programs
Broker integrated HR solutions within the HROM and lead complex, high-impact initiatives
Ensure HR services meet time, cost, value, quality, and SLA expectations
Leverage HR system data and reporting to analyze retention, performance management, engagement, conflict, and other people issues
Plan and execute HR policies and practices in compliance with applicable state and federal law
Meet physical requirements and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED
8–10 years of relevant work experience
1–3 years of supervisory/management experience
Some experience may be substituted for some of the above education
Strong decision-making capabilities and experience interpreting information for business decisions and recommendations
Extensive experience partnering with stakeholders using a consultative approach
Business acumen to contribute to strategic business and people plans
Experience with data analytics, talent and organization diagnostics, HR systems, and people metrics
Knowledge of legislation affecting associate relations and applicable state and federal law
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to facilitate emotionally charged meetings, exercise sound judgment, listen, assess problems, and develop logical solutions
Ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently and work effectively in a matrix management environment
