Part - time merchandiser executing retail planograms, displays, and store visits for Acosta Group’s retail and brand clients. Managing field reporting and store relationships across an assigned territory.
About the role
- Part-time merchandiser supporting Acosta Group’s retail brands through in-store displays and planogram resets. Scheduling store visits, reporting completed work, and traveling across the Halifax-area territory.
Responsibilities
- Support merchandising initiatives for clients representing cosmetics, grocery, electronics, and other brands
- Set up and update shelving, displays, walls, and other fixtures according to planograms and instructions
- Plan and schedule store visits within the assigned territory
- Communicate work schedules to support team members when required
- Attend training conference calls, online training, and field training as required
- Create and develop strong working relationships with key in-store contacts
- Complete shift reporting, including online daily reports with photographs of completed work
- Communicate with and execute a variety of store calls, including Walmart and Shoppers Drug Mart
Requirements
- Relevant merchandising experience (preferred but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail, specifically understanding and executing changes to a planogram
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi task, and meet deadlines
- Energetic, self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Flexible and adaptable
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to work Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm time frame
- Valid driver's license and access to the exclusive use of a reliable vehicle
- Comfortable travelling up to 90kms from your region
- Computer savvy with access to a PC Computer and internet
- Ability to take and submit photos of your work
