Dayforce WFM consultant supporting Align HCM’s clients with implementations, configuration, testing, and post-go-live services.
Joining a remote contractor bench for future US, Canadian, and Philippine engagements.
Responsibilities
Support clients through end-to-end Dayforce WFM implementations, including requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
Configure and validate Dayforce WFM rules, including timekeeping policies, accrual plans, scheduling rules, pay codes, and workforce data configurations
Create source-system-to-Dayforce WFM data mappings and functional specifications for configurations or customizations
Support testing, troubleshoot configuration issues, and coordinate client acceptance
Maintain requirements, design, configuration, and project documentation and project plans
Build client relationships, communicate clearly, and handle questions and feedback professionally
Escalate project, technical, or configuration issues to appropriate project or practice leads
Manage multiple client engagements and deliverables, track time, forecast hours, and meet project expectations
Facilitate client meetings, workshops, working sessions, and demonstrations
Provide Dayforce WFM best-practice recommendations and functional guidance
Collaborate with internal project teams in a team-oriented consulting environment
Requirements
3+ years of hands-on experience implementing Dayforce WFM, including timekeeping, scheduling, accruals, and pay rules
Strong understanding of Workforce Management concepts and Dayforce WFM functionality
Experience across the full implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering through post-go-live support
Strong ownership of deliverables and proactive project responsibility management
Strong client-facing skills, communication, and professional handling of feedback
Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including presenting materials and facilitating client sessions
Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities
Ability to track time accurately, meet deadlines, and work within utilization and project expectations
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent professional experience
Dayforce WFM certification strongly preferred, or willingness to obtain certification as required
Ability to work independently remotely while collaborating with distributed teams
Willingness and ability to engage on a contract basis when suitable opportunities arise
Clearly defined current or upcoming availability, notice period, and potential start date
Ability to commit to agreed project schedules and deliverables
US and Canada candidates: ability to travel for client engagements as needed, up to 10%
Philippines candidates: remote position; travel is not required
Valid authorization to work in the respective country; visa sponsorship is not available
Nice to have: experience with additional Dayforce modules, integrations, Dayforce Extensibility Framework, HR operations, payroll processing, workforce planning, consulting, North American clients, or mentoring junior consultants
