About the role
- General Utility Worker cleaning and sanitizing kitchenware, equipment, and lodge facilities at Aramark’s remote oilsands site. Supporting safe, orderly food-service operations near Fort McMurray.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils
- Maintain the dishwashing station, three-compartment sink, and related areas
- Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition; report issues to management
- Perform light maintenance and custodial tasks
- Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward guests, customers, clients, and coworkers
- Follow Aramark safety policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation
- Ensure security of company assets
- Perform other serviceable duties as assigned
Requirements
- Applications must have resumes attached to be considered
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment D&A test
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check
- Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Ability to perform physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing
- May be required to wear uniforms and/or use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
