Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of drainage and stormwater management systems for major infrastructure projects in Ontario
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Conduct field inspections and site assessments
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, detailed drawings, and specifications
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in drainage design and stormwater management, with a focus on infrastructure projects
- P.Eng (Professional Engineer) designation with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) is required
- Proficiency in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM), CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Openroads), and GIS applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
