About the role
- New graduate geotechnical engineer joining AtkinsRéalis, an engineering services and nuclear organization. Developing expertise in soil mechanics, slopes, dams, excavations, and tunnels through its Odyssey Program.
Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on experience, personalized mentorship, and exposure to diverse projects through the Odyssey Program
- Apply geotechnical engineering skills in soil mechanics and numerical modelling
- Assess slope stability
- Design, construct, and analyze dikes and dams
- Design soil and rock excavations, consolidation and retaining systems, walls, and other erosion-prevention structures
- Plan and construct tunnels and other underground facilities
- Build professional skills, networks, and expertise through training and development
Requirements
- New graduate with a bachelor's degree in Geotechnical engineering
- Graduation in 2027
- Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- A valid driver's license may be required for some positions
