About the role

Engineering Student role at AtkinsRéalis assisting with engineering projects and quality assurance in the nuclear industry. Positions available in Mississauga or Pickering for student co-ops.

Responsibilities

Provide support to Engineers, Discipline Leads and Engineering Managers in day-to-day engineering activities and coordination
Assist in delivering work in accordance with AtkinsRéalis Inc. / Candu Energy Quality Assurance Programs and project requirements
Interface with multi-disciplines and other project sectors (e.g., Document Control, Project Management, field team etc.) for coordination on task scopes assigned
Collaborate with members of the civil team to facilitate the general workflow (e.g., coordinate document reviews and Request for Information (RFI) correspondence)
Attend technical and project coordination meetings

Currently enrolled in Civil Engineering Program with an accredited Canadian University
Solid foundation in engineering principles with the ability to apply them to practical solutions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with tools like MATLAB, MathCAD, or StaadPro is an asset
Strong planning, organizational, and multitasking skills in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Adaptable and eager to contribute in a regulated, safety-focused industry; prior exposure to the nuclear sector is an asset
Ability to obtain Security Clearance is mandatory
