About the role
- Backend software developer transforming Forma Admin access controls at Autodesk, whose software enables innovative buildings, cars, factories, and films. Building secure APIs and distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test software features and system components
- Diagnose and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other system errors
- Collaborate with teams in Autodesk Construction Solutions, both domestic and abroad
- Participate actively in code reviews and pull requests
- Have your code reviewed by the team and improve as a developer
- Reimagine Forma Admin user access controls and contribute to flexible, secure access-control systems
- Own and develop Tier 1 core APIs supporting ACS products and critical data sets
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; or significant equivalent experience
- 2+ years of backend and distributed systems engineering experience
- Experience with SQL/Postgres DB
- Ability to unblock yourself through tough technical challenges
- Strong communication skills with the ability to converse fluently with multiple types of audiences ranging from managers, customers, and software developers
- Ability to convert complex software problems into technical tasks
- Ability to work well in a remote-friendly distributed team to deliver on team goal
- Flexibility under changing conditions and ability to multi-task between projects
