Responsibilities
Participate in the daily operations of the Solus repair shop
Prepare body panels, including fenders, bumpers, and other vehicle components
Perform necessary frame straightening, dent repair, and restoration work
Ensure repairs meet industry and safety standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area while complying with workplace safety regulations
Collaborate with the production team in a customer-focused environment
Perform high-quality repairs to promote customer satisfaction and financial performance
Keep the promises made to customers and ensure they receive their vehicles back as quickly as possible
Promote the values and objectives of the Aviva Auto Service Centre
Requirements
French language proficiency required
Red Seal certification as an Automotive Service Technician
Practical knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation
Experience repairing body panels and excellent understanding of repair methods
Valid driver's licence
Commitment to continuous improvement
Strong knowledge of vehicle and equipment preventive maintenance, refurbishment, and repair practices and procedures
Excellent organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, identify root causes, and develop solutions
Detail-oriented approach and excellent organizational skills
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under pressure
