About the role
- Product Manager shaping fintech products for individual landlords and real estate investors at Baselane. Defining roadmaps, validating features, and using customer data to improve financial management tools.
Responsibilities
- Help define product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Execute on product roadmap with design and engineering teams
- Represent user needs and prioritize development with the biggest impact on users
- Explore solutions and create and validate hypotheses via A/B tests
- Analyze user feedback and data to understand behavior, friction points, and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with Marketing, Design, Product, and Engineering teams to iterate on feature development
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to understand customer needs
- Design and deliver valuable, user-focused features
- Use product analytics data to guide prioritization and decisions
Requirements
- Engineering, Computer Science, or similar quantitative/technical background
- Strong interest in fintech
- Hands-on fluency with AI tools for prototyping and efficient work
- 2+ years of professional experience at a tech startup, ideally a B2C fintech, as a product manager
- Ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Highly organized with a track record of delivering projects on time in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in user research and behavioral analytics, including Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Google Analytics
- Experience setting up feature experiments and measuring their impact
- Deep curiosity about customer pain points
- Understanding of B2C SaaS and/or FinTech landscapes
- Nice to have: direct experience in the US FinTech landscape
- Nice to have: taking products from concept to launch, including go-to-market strategy, packaging, pricing, and enablement
- Nice to have: mobile app feature development experience
- Nice to have: SQL proficiency for data querying and analysis
