Responsibilities
- To lead Project Management from technology development to deliver live
- Acting as the day to day client interface
- Advising at a strategic level at the project inception stage
- Helping to establish the overall success criteria for the project
- Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems
- Preparing and maintaining schedules of activity
- Managing the development of the project in accordance with approved plans
- Developing and implementing resource plans and procurement of resources
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management and/or 2+ years of Project Management experience
- Agile experience (the team is 50% Agile and 50% Waterfall)
- Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management
- Experience with Defect Management tools (Jira, Rally, etc)
- Thorough knowledge of software development phases and processes, including a working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to interact effectively with IT management, software development and test teams
