About the role

  • Insolvency Analyst supporting BDO Canada’s Personal Debt Solutions clients. Drafting insolvency documents, maintaining databases, and promoting debt-relief services through community outreach.

Responsibilities

  • Draft documents, letters, and correspondence for clients
  • Accurately enter documents into internal systems and create formal documents in the insolvency database
  • Assist the Personal Debt Solutions department with various duties
  • Work with the local team and others within the organization
  • Conduct community outreach and use social media to promote personal debt solutions offerings
  • Demonstrate BDO's core values through all aspects of the work
  • Identify, recommend, and focus on effective service delivery to clients
  • Participate in adoption of digital tools and strategies
  • Develop expertise through learning and professional development

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to liaise well with staff and outside parties
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Post-secondary education considered an asset but not required
  • Previous Insolvency/Personal Debt Solutions experience considered an asset but not required
  • Ability to stay organized within a busy work environment
  • Ability to support high-level management demands with strong attention to detail
  • Deadline- and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently
  • Exceptional time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English required
  • Must be able to work in-office, at client sites, and virtually according to BDO's blended work model
