About the role

Responsibilities
- Design and evolve the architecture of our data pipelines (ELT/ETL) on AWS
- Define and maintain our modeling standards with dbt (raw, staging, marts layers)
- Orchestrate data flows and ensure their reliability and observability in production
- Make architectural decisions regarding AWS infrastructure (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Step Functions) and document them
- Collaborate with the team to validate technical choices during client engagements
- Contribute to the evolution of the BEEM product: propose improvements, evaluate new technologies, and lay the technical foundations for new features
- Upskill the team on architecture topics and best practices
Requirements
- Proven and substantial experience in data engineering
- Strong proficiency in Python and advanced SQL
- Solid experience with AWS and its data services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift or equivalent)
- Proficiency with dbt for layered data modeling
- Experience with an orchestration tool (Airflow, Step Functions, Prefect or equivalent)
- Comfortable working with Git, performing code reviews, and adhering to strict technical standards
- Bilingual communication in French and English
