About the role

  • Automotive Glass Technician repairing and replacing vehicle glass for Belron Canada’s Speedy Glass. Performing ADAS camera recalibrations and delivering high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Repair or replace customers’ windshields using industry-leading tools
  • Perform recalibrations of advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) front cameras
  • Meet or exceed Speedy Glass technical standards for vehicle glass and product installation
  • Comply with company quality and other procedures
  • Adhere to and enforce Belron International technical standards and work procedures for door, window and windshield repair and replacement
  • Maintain tools properly
  • Follow company Health and Safety procedures and use provided safety equipment
  • Work within company productivity targets
  • Represent customer interests in internal procedures
  • Provide customer feedback promptly and keep customers informed of the work process
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales through add-on products and develop business opportunities
  • Display a high level of professionalism
  • Exercise strong attention to detail
  • Foster genuine relationships with customers and team members

Requirements

  • Eager and motivated to learn
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs, if needed
  • Valid Class 5 or Class G license; Class 7 Novice and G2 are not considered full driver’s licenses
  • Able to drive a company vehicle independently to complete tasks at the client’s site, where required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Direct experience in the automotive glass repair and replacement industry is an asset
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Results-oriented team player with ability to multitask
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills
  • Available to work a flexible schedule
  • Willing to work at different Belron Canada locations near your home, when required
