About the role

Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the evolution of the claims control environment
- Participate in the implementation and optimization of tools, controls, and monitoring mechanisms to identify high-risk situations
- Act as a business partner to claims managers and teams
- Participate in the evolution and optimization of claims fraud prevention and detection practices
- Collaborate in detecting, analyzing, and monitoring situations that present fraud indicators
- Make recommendations to strengthen control and prevention mechanisms
- Analyze trends, risk indicators, and monitoring results to identify opportunities for improvement
- Act as an intermediary between the Claims Vice Presidency and corporate functions, including Internal Audit, Risk Management, and Compliance
- Monitor industry best practices
- Prepare analyses, recommendations, and reports for various management committees
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of the property and casualty insurance industry, particularly claims, related risks, and governance and control practices
- Experience in fraud prevention and risk management in the property and casualty insurance industry
- Strong command of French, both spoken and written
- Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written
- CPA or CRM designation is an asset
