About the role
- Insurance claims agent handling automobile and property claims for Beneva and L’Unique. Opening claim files, assessing coverage, confirming liability, and coordinating vehicle services.
Responsibilities
- Handle calls related to automobile and property claims for personal and commercial insurance policies across Beneva and L’Unique
- Initiate the opening of a claim file
- Collect the information required to assess the validity and current status of the policy, verify compliance with policy conditions, and determine whether the loss is covered
- Confirm liability and the applicable deductible with the insured
- Refer insureds to automotive partner providers for damage assessments, repairs, and vehicle rentals
- Schedule appraisal appointments with insureds
- Support the Claims department and perform any other related duties or tasks assigned by the manager
Requirements
- Vocational diploma (DEP) or equivalent
- Customer service experience
- Comfortable handling telephone conversations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
