Responsibilities
- Analyze complex underwriting files submitted by managers and agents
- Analyze claim notices related to major claims
- Participate in special insurance projects and committees
- Collaborate on various analytical assignments related to underwriting files
- Conduct call monitoring in accordance with business quality programs
- Act as a resource by sharing expertise
- Contribute to identifying solutions for the development of underwriting competencies
Requirements
- Seven (7) years of experience in property and casualty insurance
- Three (3) years in an underwriting resource role
- Property and casualty insurance agent license issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF)
- Professional Insurance Accredited (PAA) designation
- Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken
- Successful completion of the underwriting test applicable to this position
- Excellent knowledge of underwriting standards
