About the role
- Senior Mainframe Developer responsible for the software development life cycle at BMO. Collaborating across teams to transform requirements into features and managing development processes.
Responsibilities
- Drives the overall software development lifecycle including working across functional teams
- Supports system design, provides advice on security requirements and debugs business systems
- Analyzes, develops, tests, and implements new software programs
- Performs preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and fault rectification
Requirements
- 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
- Post-secondary degree in related field of study
- Mainframe Development experience - COBOL, CICS, DB2, MQ, JCL, SQL
- Nice to have: .NET Development, API, AWS, Banking Industry, Trade Finance knowledge
