About the role
- Principal NetSuite consultant leading full-cycle ERP implementations for finance and operations leaders. Designing NetSuite solutions, migrations, testing, training, and client transformations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as lead consultant on end-to-end NetSuite implementations
- Act as the client's advocate during engagements
- Lead discovery and requirements-gathering workshops
- Lead process mapping, reengineering, and future-state process design
- Advise clients on standard functionality and software and industry leading practices
- Design functional system configurations and draft requirements and design documents
- Develop wireframe and schematic diagrams
- Translate complex business requirements and processes into technical designs
- Perform fit/gap analysis
- Collaborate with technical counterparts to deliver custom solutions
- Manage scope, requirements, and project budget/allocation
- Lead configuration workshops and offline configuration activities
- Lead User Acceptance Testing and Systems Interface Testing
- Lead end-user training and enablement planning
- Define data migration strategy and lead or complete migration activities
- Provide post-go-live client support
- Lead full-cycle NetSuite implementation phases: Plan, Design, Build, Verify, Deploy, Support
- Lead project management activities including status meetings, planning, work breakdown, and change control
- Support new-client attraction and project scoping
- Contribute to go-to-market, knowledge management, and enablement initiatives
- Develop NetSuite product skills as required by engagements
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, or Information Systems or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of hands-on NetSuite configuration and consulting/administration experience
- 8+ full life cycle implementations
- 4+ warehousing or manufacturing specific implementations
- NetSuite Certifications heavily preferred: ERP Consultant, Administrator
- Strong interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and change management skills
- Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills
- Ability to manage client and team interactions and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong background in finance/accounting, supply chain, consulting services, and/or industry-specific experience
- Ability to design end-to-end solutions with SuiteCloud Platform tools: SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, SuiteTalk
- Extensive familiarity with data migration plans and procedures
- Hands-on experience completing Go-Live cutover data loads
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a virtual environment
- Willingness to travel up to 30% to be on-site with clients as needed
- Advanced NetSuite module experience, work in warehousing or manufacturing, Celigo/Boomi/FarApp expertise, SuiteCloud Developer certification, CPA/audit experience, APICS, PMP or CSM are desirable
