About the role

Frontend Engineer building intuitive web applications for Cambio’s real estate decarbonization software platform. Collaborating across engineering, product, and design to deliver accessible interfaces and automated testing.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers to create technical requirements, designs, and test plans for the web application
Develop maintainable software that gracefully handles error conditions and delivers exceptional user experiences
Conduct thorough testing and create automated test suites
Advance the software framework, platform, and tools to support product expansion
Deliver finely crafted products aligned with the founding team's vision
Introduce technology improvements targeting a 50% enhancement in frontend codebase quality and maintainability and a 30% reduction in the development cycle
Build intuitive, responsive, and performant web applications for Cambio's real estate decarbonization platform
Transform UI/UX designs and product requirements into polished, accessible interfaces
Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams

2–3+ years of software engineering experience
Proficiency in web development technologies such as ReactJS, VueJS, or similar frameworks
Ability to derive multiple solutions and propose the best option
Understanding of technical trade-offs and the YAGNI principle
Solid computer science and algorithmic fundamentals
Creative debugging and problem-solving skills
Experience collaborating effectively with colleagues
Familiarity with TypeScript, ReactJS, Next.js, and Recharts
Authorization to work in the United States or Canada
