Responsibilities
Lead internal communication strategies for enterprise-wide initiatives, organizational priorities, or high-impact projects
Develop and execute employee-facing communication plans explaining what is changing, why it matters, and required actions
Advise senior leaders and stakeholders on communications planning, messaging, employee engagement, and change communication
Support organizational change by helping employees understand, adopt, and engage with new initiatives and ways of working
Use employee feedback, channel insights, analytics, and other data to measure communication effectiveness and improve content, channels, and approaches
Manage multiple communication projects while balancing competing priorities, deadlines, and business needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent, clear, and aligned organizational messaging
Coach, mentor, or guide colleagues and content contributors to strengthen content quality, channel use, and stakeholder engagement
Report to the Senior Manager, Internal Communications
Requirements
Experienced internal communicator
Experience leading internal communication strategies for enterprise-wide initiatives, organizational priorities, or high-impact projects
Experience developing and executing employee-facing communication plans
Experience advising senior leaders and stakeholders on communications planning, messaging, employee engagement, and change communication
Experience supporting organizational change and adoption of new initiatives and ways of working
Experience using employee feedback, channel insights, analytics, or other data to measure communication effectiveness
Experience managing multiple communication projects and competing priorities
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on organizational messaging
Experience coaching, mentoring, or guiding colleagues or content contributors
Strategic thinking and ability to connect people, priorities, and information
Strong writing and editing skills, including explaining complex or sensitive topics clearly and accessibly
Ability to build credibility with leaders, subject matter experts, and colleagues
Organized project leadership and flexibility as priorities shift
Healthcare-savvy communicator with understanding of the Canadian health system
Ability to communicate with colleagues in Quebec, Ontario, and/or other Canadian provinces in English
French proficiency is an asset, but not required
