About the role

  • Digital strategy adviser leading Radio-Canada’s French Eurovision campaign across marketing, social media and voting platforms. Driving Canadian audience engagement, participation and live viewership.

Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements, define and lead Radio-Canada’s French-language digital strategy for the Eurovision Song Contest
  • Coordinate rollout of marketing and content plans across digital and social media platforms
  • Maximize live viewership among French-speaking Canadians
  • Maximize audience engagement and participation during the national voting phase and main competition
  • Serve as primary liaison between Radio-Canada, CBC and the European Broadcasting Union
  • Liaise with CRM and strategy teams to align messaging
  • Design audience journeys from awareness to engagement, votes and live viewership
  • Define website and public voting platform content and engagement strategy
  • Help draft the RFP for the digital voting solution
  • Coordinate selection, implementation, testing and launch of the voting platform
  • Coordinate editorial, marketing, product, technology, data, security and legal teams
  • Manage tracking, conversion requirements and data synchronization across audience platforms
  • Engage audiences through newsletters, push notifications and targeted communications
  • Develop French-language social media strategy, editorial guidelines, content formats, schedules and engagement tactics
  • Coordinate content production across TV, audio and digital teams
  • Develop collaboration strategies for content creators and influencers
  • Build and maintain the master schedule for digital activities
  • Coordinate announcements, approvals, deliverables and stakeholder communications
  • Identify dependencies, mitigate risks, track decisions and lead coordination meetings
  • Supervise a Digital Editor
  • Ensure projects meet schedules, budgets, quality standards and approval workflows
  • Track viewership, traffic, engagement, subscriber growth, content performance and partnership metrics

Requirements

  • Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in digital project management, social media strategy or digital marketing
  • University degree in marketing, communications, business administration or a related field
  • Proven track record of planning and delivering high-profile integrated campaigns
  • Deep understanding of web platforms, social media ecosystems, relationship marketing, data analytics and user journeys
  • Ability to manage cross-functional editorial, marketing, technical and creative teams simultaneously
  • Experience implementing digital platforms or evaluating technical RFPs
  • Exceptional planning, prioritization and schedule management skills
  • Ability to make prompt, sound decisions in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
  • Strong analytical skills focused on performance tracking and continuous optimization
  • Excellent communication skills in French, with the ability to collaborate effectively in English
