About the role

Engineer-in-Training in the Energy Sector as part of Cenovus's New Grad Program. Opportunity for rotations across various business areas leading to a permanent role.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will be dependent on the business unit and specific role of your rotation.

Legally authorized to work in Canada
Available to begin work June 2027
Must have an undergraduate or graduate Mechanical, Materials, Chemical/Process, or Petroleum Engineering-related degree obtained by May 31, 2027, and completed within the last 2 years (2025, 2026, or before May 31, 2027).
Must be eligible to register for your Engineer-in-Training designation.
Has less than two years of professional experience related to this discipline of study, excluding student experience.

Access to New Grad Program Committees including Learning & Development, Networking & Engagement, Brown Bag, and the Social Committee.
Various support from direct leaders, program leads, ambassadors and more.
3 rotations yearly that build a breadth of development and business acumen in future leaders and technical experts.
Relocation: If you will need to relocate for your first rotation/home location, support will be provided as per Cenovus’ internal policies.
