Industrial Electrician responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in water treatment facilities. Independently working on electrical and electronic equipment to ensure optimal operations.
Responsibilities
Responsible for planned, unplanned and emergency inspection, testing, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and/or repair of electrical and electronic equipment
Must operate various pieces of process equipment and/or adjust various water or wastewater treatment system process parameters
Carry out duties in consideration of, and in close coordination with, other skilled trade and maintenance staff
Requirements
Completion of Industrial Electrician or Construction and Maintenance Electrician apprenticeship program of 9000 hours
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed Industrial Electrician or Construction and Maintenance Electrician
Valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification as Electrician-Construction and Maintenance 309A or Industrial Electrician 442A
Must obtain and maintain Ontario MOE Operator-in-Training Certificate
Valid Ontario unrestricted G class driver’s licence
Must complete all required on-the-job training/certifications
