Part-time Occupational Health Nurse providing employee health services and managing accommodation files for Kii Health. On-site coverage across Hamilton, Scarborough, East York, and Toronto GTA locations.
Responsibilities
Provide health services to employees, including health education, health promotion, treatment of illness and injury, and follow-up of ill and injured workers
Manage non-occupational accommodation requests across five locations
Prioritize new accommodation requests and review existing cases
Collaborate with HR, managers, supervisors, and union representatives on accommodation and return-to-work processes
Maintain confidential medical records in accordance with applicable policies, legislation, and privacy requirements
Support Health Centre policies, programs, and procedures
Collaborate with HR, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and other workplace parties on complex cases and fitness-for-work assessments
Provide treatment and follow-up for illness and injury
Support the day-to-day operations of assigned Health Centres
Provide on-site coverage at designated locations, with remote support to other GTA sites as required
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
RN or RPN designation required
English language designation/requirement
Ability to work permanent part-time hours of 16–24 hours per week
Availability for Monday to Friday, eight-hour day shifts
Ability to provide on-site coverage at designated GTA locations
Knowledge of applicable policies, legislation, and privacy requirements for confidential medical records
Ability to support accommodation, return-to-work, and fitness-for-work processes
Ability to collaborate with HR, managers, supervisors, union representatives, EHS, and other workplace parties
