About the role
- Part-time remote HR Generalist supporting employees, HR processes, benefits, payroll, and workplace safety. Perseus Group acquires and guides vertical-market software companies worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Act as a single point of contact for designated employees and/or business units
- Proactively support HR process delivery and manage assigned HR projects
- Serve as a preliminary manager contact for employee relations issues and involve the Director of HR as appropriate
- Conduct new-hire onboarding for designated groups
- Assist with administration of company benefits for designated groups
- Support and partner with the Payroll Manager as needed
- Maintain and use Workday (HRIS) and Paylocity
- Provide training to employees and managers as required
- Build strong business relationships with internal clients
- Ensure compliance with legislative practices, identify gaps, and propose and implement changes
- Provide general HR support and assist with assigned HR projects
- Manage OSHA logs and workplace safety, including workers’ compensation claims
Requirements
- Support designated employees and/or business units as a single point of contact
- Experience with Workday (HRIS) and Paylocity use
- Knowledge of employee relations issues and escalation practices
- Knowledge of benefits administration
- Knowledge of payroll support processes
- Ability to provide training to employees and managers
