About the role

  • Social media specialist creating video, campaigns, and event content for CWB Group, a welding and joining industry organization. Managing social channels, analytics, and digital storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage CWB Group's organic social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Maintain a consistent publishing cadence and brand voice across social channels
  • Build and maintain monthly content calendars aligned with campaigns, launches, events, thought leadership programs, and business priorities
  • Monitor brand and industry mentions, engage with the community, and flag reputational or compliance concerns
  • Track platform changes, algorithm updates, and emerging formats and recommend tests
  • Support paid social advertising campaigns, including audience targeting, creative assets, and A/B testing
  • Concept, script, shoot, and edit short-form and long-form video content
  • Create video assets for product and service promotions, client success stories, industry commentary, and campaigns
  • Maintain branded motion graphic templates, lower-thirds, and animated elements
  • Coordinate third-party production contractors as required
  • Monitor comments, mentions, and messages; direct users to relevant webpages or coordinate responses with Client Success
  • Provide photography and videography coverage at events, sponsorships, trade shows, and community events
  • Plan event content strategies and capture plans
  • Publish live and near-live social content during events
  • Edit and publish post-event highlight videos, photo galleries, and recap content
  • Track, analyze, and report monthly social media performance metrics
  • Recommend improvements to the Marketing Manager and Senior Manager of Marketing Strategy & Brand

Requirements

  • Post-Secondary education or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of progressive social media marketing experience
  • At least one year of experience in a B2B or professional services environment
  • Video editing skills for social media distribution using tools like Adobe Premier, CapCut, Instagram Edits, Munch or others
  • Basic graphic design and content creation skills, including Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite products
  • Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools including Sprout Social or Hootsuite
  • Working knowledge of LinkedIn Campaign Manager and/or Meta Business Suite for support and monitoring of paid placements
  • Approximately 5% travel required within Canada
  • Social Media program and/or courses considered an asset
  • Bilingual in English and French considered an asset
