- Personal finance advisor helping Desjardins members and clients achieve financial goals. Providing financing, credit, loan and insurance recommendations in Montréal.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain lasting and trusting business relationships with members and clients
- Listen to members’ and clients’ needs and provide advice suited to their financial situations
- Help members and clients choose appropriate solutions to meet their financial goals
- Provide financing solutions for affluent individuals and businesses
- Recommend loans and insurance products
- Serve as a financing expert advisor and resource person
- Ensure cross-sector strategies are applied to financing
- Authorize credit in accordance with established rules
- Balance member/client satisfaction, business objectives, profitability and sound and prudent risk management
- Work with partners and experts to design integrated strategies
- Advise members and clients on the best strategies and identify expected results
- Manage business relationships and assess member/client satisfaction and service quality
- Follow up and identify areas for improvement
- Stay up-to-date on the financial services industry, market trends and best practices
- Participate in outreach activities and represent the caisse in the community
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers
- Knowledge of French is required
- Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
