About the role
- Personal finance advisor helping Desjardins members and businesses achieve financial goals. Recommending investments, loans and insurance products while managing trusted client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain lasting and trusting business relationships with members and clients
- Listen to members’ and clients’ needs and provide advice suited to their financial situation
- Help members and clients choose appropriate solutions to meet their financial goals
- Recommend investments, loans and insurance products
- Balance member/client satisfaction, business objectives, profitability and sound and prudent risk management
- Work with partners and experts to design integrated strategies
- Advise members and clients on strategies and identify expected results
- Manage business relationships and assess member/client satisfaction and service quality
- Follow up and identify areas for improvement
- Stay up-to-date on the financial services industry, market trends and best practices
- Participate in outreach activities and represent the caisse in the community
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers
- Knowledge of French is required
- Ability to recommend investments, loans and insurance products
- Knowledge of financial services industry, market trends and best practices
- Sound and prudent risk management knowledge
