About the role
- Senior wealth advisor developing personalized investment and wealth strategies for Desjardins clients. Managing relationships, sales growth, market analysis, and 360° financial planning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage business relationships
- Prospect for and solicit new mass-affluent Signature Service members and clients
- Develop personalized strategies and provide tailored advice and solutions
- Serve as an expert advisor for the 360° wealth management approach, savings and investments
- Develop high-level financial strategies as a business relationship leader
- Work with expert professionals and specialized partners to implement the 360° approach
- Balance member/client satisfaction, objectives, risk and compliance management, and implementation of the business model
- Represent Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with members and clients
- Establish and negotiate product and service terms
- Mentor and coach team members
- Drum up new business and develop the full potential of existing members and clients
- Set goals and advise members and clients on the best strategies
- Develop a comprehensive 360° offering based on member and client needs
- Contribute to sales objectives through action plans based on the business plan
- Monitor stock market movements and investment trends
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and best practices
- Participate in promotional and public relations activities and maintain a presence in the business community
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Financial Planner designation
- Be registered or eligible for registration as a Registered Representative
- Knowledge of French is required
