About the role

  • Senior wealth advisor developing personalized investment and wealth strategies for Desjardins clients. Managing relationships, sales growth, market analysis, and 360° financial planning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage business relationships
  • Prospect for and solicit new mass-affluent Signature Service members and clients
  • Develop personalized strategies and provide tailored advice and solutions
  • Serve as an expert advisor for the 360° wealth management approach, savings and investments
  • Develop high-level financial strategies as a business relationship leader
  • Work with expert professionals and specialized partners to implement the 360° approach
  • Balance member/client satisfaction, objectives, risk and compliance management, and implementation of the business model
  • Represent Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with members and clients
  • Establish and negotiate product and service terms
  • Mentor and coach team members
  • Drum up new business and develop the full potential of existing members and clients
  • Set goals and advise members and clients on the best strategies
  • Develop a comprehensive 360° offering based on member and client needs
  • Contribute to sales objectives through action plans based on the business plan
  • Monitor stock market movements and investment trends
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and best practices
  • Participate in promotional and public relations activities and maintain a presence in the business community

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Financial Planner designation
  • Be registered or eligible for registration as a Registered Representative
  • Knowledge of French is required
