About the role
- Turnaround and recovery technician managing distressed loans, bad debt, guarantees, and credit risk at Desjardins. Providing technical support, analysis, and solutions for risk management processes.
Responsibilities
- Help manage, monitor and resolve distressed loans and bad debt
- Extend guarantees
- Serve as technical collaborator and provide discipline-specific support for unit activities, initiatives and processes
- Research and analyze processes, information management and data processing
- Provide technical support for projects and operational issues
- Evaluate and analyze credit risk
- Propose and implement solutions to minimize the risk of loss
- Conduct technical studies, research and analysis
- Serve as resource person for the submission of solutions and action plans
- Prepare technical notes to enhance users’ skills and knowledge
- Help practitioners follow unit processes and use business solutions, tools and systems
Requirements
- General college diploma in a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Decision quality
