About the role

  • Wealth Management Advisor serving affluent Desjardins clients with personalized wealth, investment, and banking strategies. Developing relationships, sales plans, and tailored solutions for complex financial needs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve, solicit, develop and maintain business relationships with affluent Signature Service members and clients
  • Develop personalized strategies and provide tailored advice and solutions to help members and clients reach their financial and personal goals
  • Advise on savings, investments and banking offerings as part of the 360° wealth management approach
  • Provide members and clients with premium support
  • Work closely with professionals and specialized partners from various fields
  • Balance member/client satisfaction, objectives, risk and compliance management, and implementation of the business model
  • Represent Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with members and clients
  • Establish and negotiate product and service terms
  • Drum up new business and develop the full potential of existing members and clients
  • Set goals and advise members and clients on the best strategies
  • Develop a comprehensive 360° offering based on member and client needs
  • Contribute to sales objectives by developing action plans based on the business plan
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and best practices
  • Participate in promotional and public relations activities and maintain a presence in the business community

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers
  • Knowledge of French is required
