About the role

  • Desjardins Account Manager developing and selling financial products to commercial clients. Managing relationships, growth, risk, profitability, and client satisfaction in hybrid L'Étang-du-Nord.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, develop and maintain personalized business relationships with current and potential clients to promote and sell Desjardins products and services
  • Act as an account manager and key intermediary between the business centre and members and clients
  • Ensure proper usage, updating and satisfaction with products and services offered
  • Analyze dissatisfaction sources and recommend potential solutions
  • Identify and analyze member and client needs, develop personalized solutions and prepare integrated service offerings
  • Negotiate applicable conditions with members and clients
  • Recommend strategies and solutions to increase business volume, ensure sound risk management, improve portfolio profitability and strengthen business relationships
  • Identify business development opportunities that increase the competitiveness of products and services
  • Execute promotional activities and participate in targeted public relations activities and the business community
  • Address client and member needs, seize business opportunities and refer them to the appropriate person as needed
  • Provide sound and prudent risk management for all portfolios under responsibility

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Adhere to all policies, practices and standards in effect, as well as the various laws governing the distribution of financial products and services
