About the role
- Capital markets and treasury advisor guiding Desjardins’ strategic financial initiatives. Advising senior stakeholders on complex projects, policies, and external agreements.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients and partners on positioning, planning, development, execution, and monitoring of strategic projects and initiatives
- Develop and update policies, standards, models, and programs supporting strategic projects and initiatives
- Identify, analyze, and diagnose major issues and make recommendations to decision-making bodies
- Represent the unit before senior management committees and decision-making bodies
- Represent and negotiate on behalf of Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with external partners and organizations
- Lead and influence development projects and complex strategic initiatives involving multiple sectors
- Serve as expert advisor, subject matter expert, resource person, and coach for senior management and decision-making bodies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Advanced proficiency in French, both spoken and written
- Advanced proficiency of English, both oral and written
