Data engineering advisor developing scalable data platforms and pipelines for Desjardins. Designing, integrating, and improving data systems aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities

Develop solutions for collecting, integrating, consolidating, cleaning, storing and transparently mining data
Develop, maintain, support and run computer applications and data pipelines
Perform functional analysis, IT design, coding, fine-tuning and documentation of programs
Assist clients with development initiatives involving scalable data-mining solutions and business-adapted platforms
Analyze client and partner needs and develop execution strategies and action plans
Serve as a data management system resource person for stakeholders
Build and design data collection systems and platforms
Develop data pipelines and integrate, transform and consolidate data from different systems
Implement, monitor, maintain and improve systems meeting business needs
Use scripting languages and tools for storing and producing complex data sets
Develop algorithms, prototypes and proofs of concept within complex projects
Identify system improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements to data management services
Develop procedures and document IT solutions
Prepare and deliver training for peers and users
