About the role
- Securities Advisor at Desjardins advising members and clients on investment products and solutions. Building relationships, analyzing needs, and supporting securities sales and service.
Responsibilities
- Establish an advisory relationship by identifying current and potential needs and supporting client retention
- Advise members and clients on specialized products, services and solutions and ensure member/client satisfaction
- Analyze and meet special client needs, handle requests and follow up as needed
- Collect, compile and analyze data
- Prepare reports and recommendations
- Stay on top of the latest standards, products and services in the field
- Serve, prospect for, solicit, and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients
- Sell securities products and services through various distribution channels based on member/client needs and current strategies and practices
- Promote and sell specialized products and services in accordance with business objectives and strategies
- Support current and potential members and clients, represent the organization, and help negotiate agreements with clients
Requirements
- College diploma in a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
