About the role
- Business Quality Assurance Testing Officer analyzing large-scale delivery issues for quality assurance. Collaborating with teams to ensure high-quality project delivery and compliance with standards.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and diagnose issues and situations related to large-scale deliveries and rollouts
- Provide quality control and assurance
- Recommend solutions to improve and optimize standards, policies, and programs
- Implement a structured quality governance framework
- Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Maintain strategic relationships and represent Desjardins’s quality practice
- Produce key deliverables: testing strategy, plans, quality reviews, reports, and traceability matrix
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience in IT quality assurance
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Experience in test automation
- Experience developing manual test scenarios
- Experience drafting and running test strategies and scenarios
- International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) certification or equivalent
- Advanced knowledge of Xray, Confluence, HPALM
