About the role

  • Business financial services agent at Desjardins, supporting account managers and clients. Handling sales support, account operations, presentations, and business development in Gatineau.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with account managers to maintain business relationships with members and clients
  • Complete documentation following appointments and obtain signatures
  • Answer questions related to operations and open accounts
  • Present and close sales of products and services, including the Business Freedom Solutions plan
  • Direct and assist members and clients in using products and services
  • Help prioritize weekly activities for account managers and plan follow-ups and solicitation activities
  • Contact members and clients to confirm planned transactions and make courtesy calls upon request
  • Help prepare and deliver presentations targeted at members and clients and follow up as needed
  • Participate in solicitation activities to contribute to business development
  • Build strong business relationships, identify needs, support satisfaction, and maximize sales opportunities
  • Keep files up to date and ensure compliance with deadlines and quality standards
  • Conduct transactions and operations securely according to applicable policies and standards

Requirements

  • Attestation of Collegial Studies
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Ability to complete documentation, answer operational questions, open accounts, and present and close sales of products and services
  • Ability to prioritize activities and plan follow-ups and solicitation activities
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations
  • Ability to maintain complete, compliant, and up-to-date files
  • Ability to respect policies, practices, and standards for secure transactions and operations
