About the role

  • Discoverability Advisor advancing Desjardins’ SEO and generative AI visibility. Auditing search presence, developing recommendations and guiding cross-channel discoverability initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and evolution of the digital discoverability practice, including Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
  • Conduct discoverability audits and formulate recommendations aligned with business objectives
  • Analyze search behaviors, user journeys, AI-powered answer engines and the digital landscape
  • Contribute to the development, prioritization and implementation of discoverability action plans with partner teams
  • Act as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders and raise awareness of discoverability challenges and opportunities
  • Contribute to integrated cross-channel performance reporting
  • Monitor search engines, digital platforms, large language models, algorithms and user behaviors
  • Contribute to measurement approaches, KPIs and analytical methodologies for discoverability and visibility
  • Participate in experimentation with new approaches, methodologies, tools and practices and share learnings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Experience in marketing, discoverability, organic search (SEO) or content strategy, with a strong focus on consumer needs
  • Experience analyzing performance, developing recommendations and building action plans in a digital performance environment
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and mobilizing partners in a context of ambiguity and rapid change
  • Advanced French and English proficiency due to the nature of the role, work tools, and interactions with English-speaking partners, members and clients
  • Knowledge of large language models (LLMs), conversational agents and their impact on search behaviour
  • Strong ability to simplify complex topics and present recommendations to management audiences
  • Knowledge of discoverability, SEO and GEO measurement and analytics tools
  • Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and discoverability challenges in both traditional search and AI-powered environments
