About the role

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the preparation, analysis, disclosure and monitoring of financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Serve as lead on mandates for production of financial, regulatory, tax and accounting information
- Execute, validate and analyze complex accounting and financial transactions
- Coordinate the planning and execution of related activities
- Develop, enhance, monitor and implement methods, procedures, controls and tools
- Establish and monitor quality controls over accounting data and financial statements
- Perform specialized analyses and provide recommendations
- Produce specialized reports and documentation for various committees, stakeholders and external bodies
- Advise organizational units and diverse stakeholders within your area of expertise
- Monitor trends and recommend best practices
- Act as project lead or contribute to various projects and mandates
- Ensure adherence to financial governance, regulatory compliance and accounting or tax standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of four years of relevant accounting experience
- Other combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered
- Hold or be in the process of obtaining the CPA designation
- Knowledge of French is required
- Intermediate-to-advanced written English proficiency
