About the role

  • Financial Services Agent supporting Desjardins account managers with business financing documentation, transactions, credit monitoring, and client follow-ups.

Responsibilities

  • Support account managers by performing operational tasks related to financing products and services
  • Prepare documentation for member and client meetings, including data entry, updating financial statements and profiles, profitability analyses, and recording sales opportunities
  • Add, verify, and record activities and transactions, including payouts, renewals, financing offers and changes, loan contracts, guarantee forms, notary and discharge documentation, and registrations
  • Finalize documents after member and client meetings by updating files, recording follow-ups, and updating financial statements
  • Monitor lines of credit by conducting preliminary analyses to determine necessary coverages and updating systems
  • Process files and reports, including loan and guarantee follow-ups
  • File, manage, purge, and archive documents according to applicable practices and rules
  • Contact members and clients regarding missing or unsigned documents
  • Ensure files are complete and comply with deadlines and quality standards
  • Respect policies, practices, and standards for secure transactions and operations

Requirements

  • Attestation of Collegial Studies
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Ability to compile financial statements
  • Knowledge of loan and guarantee contracts
  • Knowledge of products and services for businesses and those offered by caisses, components and Desjardins distribution networks and those of the competition
  • Ability to enter financial data in the systems
  • Knowledge of financing and credit management practices related to businesses
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements for regulations on the distribution of financial products and services
  • Understanding of the philosophy and inner workings of a financial services cooperative
  • Knowledge of operational procedures related to financing and sales support activities
