About the role

  • Fraud prevention advisor protecting Desjardins members and clients from fraud and scams. Analyzing suspicious transactions and advising victims on preventive measures.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, compile and analyze the type and nature of suspicious transactions
  • Advise members and clients who are victims of fraud on preventive measures
  • Establish an advisory relationship by identifying current and potential needs
  • Identify operational risks and continuously help improve the Desjardins Group Security Office’s activities
  • Assist and support members and clients who are victims of various scams
  • Ensure member/client satisfaction and service quality in accordance with organizational standards and procedures
  • Detect and combat suspicious activities while minimizing financial losses

Requirements

  • General college diploma in a related field
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Advanced proficiency of English
  • Available to come to the office occasionally during training and once a month afterwards
  • Available to work Monday to Sunday between 7:00 a.m. and midnight
