About the role
- Investment Analyst analyzing private debt and equity opportunities for DID’s international impact investment fund. Supporting financial models, reporting, sector monitoring, and impact measurement.
Responsibilities
- Collect, consolidate, analyze, and interpret data to support the team and investment process
- Provide information for tracking existing investments and increasing funds under management
- Complete financial analysis related to investment opportunities
- Contribute to preparing financial models and investment management and follow-up reports and analyses
- Participate in account reporting and creation of external reports
- Monitor the sector and provide information on investment opportunities, potential countries, competitors, and market information
- Contribute to fund development and structuring
- Contribute to impact measurement and development of work methodologies and processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a relevant field
- Professional designation (CFA) or currently obtaining it is an asset
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Comfortable with MS Office tools
- In-depth knowledge of Excel
- In-depth analysis, synthesis ability, and diligence
- Team player, self-starter, and proactive thinker
- Ability to identify priorities quickly in a dynamic environment with many deadlines
- Able to work in at least two of French, English, and Spanish
- Spanish ability is a major asset
