Responsibilities
Support the immediate supervisor by helping to develop business strategies aligned with Desjardins’s strategic priorities and unit challenges
Ensure service quality and business relationships, and manage the member/client experience
Implement and monitor action plans to achieve target results
Establish management and communication practices supporting talent acquisition, talent management, team synergy and change management
Lead, coach and motivate the team to develop skills, increase engagement and empower employees
Implement and develop a competitive, profitable service offer with partnerships across the organization
Ensure process efficiency and continuous improvement, and increase profitability
Promote the Desjardins brand and strengthen the organization’s community roots
Uphold Desjardins’s cooperative values
Strategically and operationally manage a team selling financial products and services
Build and maintain long-term relationships with members and clients
Prepare and monitor a business plan addressing priorities, challenges and objectives
Ensure sector performance and sound, prudent risk management
Follow up on results and manage employee and department performance
Oversee employee skills development and ensure high-quality service
Serve as coach and provide advisory services and recommendations based on member and client needs
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of nine years of relevant experience
Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers
Strong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written
Available to travel between all three service centres
