About the role
- Market Development Manager leading Desjardins financial services strategy, team performance, and member relationships in LaSalle. Hybrid role focused on growth, service quality, talent development, and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Lead the department and manage a team dedicated to selling financial products and services
- Build and maintain long-term business relationships with members and clients
- Develop and monitor a business plan addressing priorities, challenges and objectives
- Ensure sector performance and sound, prudent risk management
- Follow up on results and manage department performance
- Oversee employee skills development and ensure high-quality service
- Coach team members and provide advisory services and recommendations
- Support development of business strategies aligned with Desjardins’s strategic priorities
- Manage member/client experience and business relationships
- Implement and monitor action plans to achieve target results
- Promote talent acquisition and management, team synergy and change management
- Develop competitive, profitable service offerings and partnerships
- Ensure process efficiency, continuous improvement and profitability
- Promote the Desjardins brand and strengthen community roots
- Uphold Desjardins’s cooperative values
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers
- Knowledge of French is required
- Advanced proficiency of English
- Available to work one evening per week until 8:00 PM
