About the role
- Securities member/client services agent supporting Desjardins investment advisors and clients. Handling account inquiries, sales support, business development, and securities products.
Responsibilities
- Serve, prospect for, solicit, and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients
- Sell securities products and services through various distribution channels based on member/client needs and current strategies and practices
- Support discretionary management, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds and structured products
- Assist members and clients and maintain business relationships
- Carry out sales, sales support and client relations activities for specific products and services or information requests
- Provide administrative, customer service and business development support to investment advisors and the team
- Respond to client information requests regarding accounts and the firm's products and services; conduct research and follow up as needed
- Forward requests to the appropriate person
- Help members/clients choose and use tools and channels based on their desired independence and automation
- Take phone calls, handle information requests and forward them to the appropriate person
- Help identify operational risks and opportunities for improvement
Requirements
- Attestation of Collegial Studies
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience
