About the role
- Personal Finance Advisor helping Desjardins members and clients achieve financial goals. Advising on and selling loans, insurance, and integrated financial solutions.
Responsibilities
- Help members and clients set goals and advise them on the best strategies
- Develop and maintain lasting, trusting business relationships with members and clients
- Listen to members’ and clients’ needs and offer advice suited to their financial situations
- Help members and clients choose appropriate solutions to meet their financial goals
- Handle financing and insurance needs in support of advisor colleagues
- Advise and support members and clients in optimizing available technologies and distribution channels
- Recommend and sell loans and insurance products
- Balance member/client satisfaction, business objectives, profitability, and prudent risk management
- Work with partners and experts to design integrated strategies
- Manage business relationships, assess satisfaction and service quality, follow up, and identify improvement areas
- Stay up-to-date on the financial services industry, market trends, and best practices
- Participate in outreach activities and be present in the community
Requirements
- General college diploma in a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
