About the role
- Personal Finance Advisor helping Desjardins members in Montréal choose investments, loans, and insurance. Building trusted relationships and advising on integrated financial strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain lasting and trusting business relationships with members and clients
- Listen to members’ and clients’ needs and offer advice suited to their financial situation
- Help members and clients choose appropriate solutions to meet their financial goals
- Recommend investments, loans and insurance products
- Serve as a financing expert advisor and resource person for the caisse
- Balance member/client satisfaction, business objectives, profitability and sound and prudent risk management
- Work with partners and experts to design integrated strategies for members and clients
- Advise members and clients on the best strategies and identify expected results
- Manage business relationships and assess member/client satisfaction and service quality
- Follow up and identify areas for improvement
- Stay up-to-date on the financial services industry, market trends and best practices
- Participate in outreach activities and represent the caisse in the community
Requirements
- College diploma in a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Certificat de représentant(e) en épargne collective – Autorité des marchés financiers
- Knowledge of French is required
- Available to work 5 days per week, Monday through Friday, including one evening if required
- Available to travel within the Greater Montreal area for representation activities
