About the role
- Personal Finance Advisor helping Desjardins members choose investments, loans, and insurance solutions. Managing relationships, assessing needs, and designing integrated financial strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain lasting and trusting business relationships with members and clients
- Listen to members’ and clients’ needs, offer advice suited to their financial situation, and help them choose appropriate solutions
- Recommend investments, loans and insurance products
- Serve as a financing expert advisor and resource person for the caisse
- Balance member/client satisfaction, business objectives, profitability and sound and prudent risk management
- Work with partners and experts to design integrated strategies
- Advise members and clients on the best strategies and identify expected results
- Manage business relationships, assess satisfaction and service quality, follow up, and identify areas for improvement
- Stay up-to-date on the financial services industry, market trends and best practices
- Participate in outreach activities and represent the caisse in the community
Requirements
- College diploma in a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers
- Knowledge of French is required
